Industrial Videos
Overview

An industrial video does something a brochure cannot — it puts a viewer inside your facility, alongside your team, watching your processes work. For manufacturers, engineering firms and heavy industry clients, this kind of visual evidence is one of the most effective tools in a sales and investor communications kit.

ColoursAlive has been filming at industrial facilities since our early years. Clients include Jeppiaar Furnace & Steels, MS Global India, Besmak, Alliance Minerals and Viari Exports — across steel plants, processing facilities, manufacturing lines and export operations. We travel across India for multi-location briefs and are experienced working within the access, timing and safety requirements of active industrial environments.

Why choose us

Proven industrial production experience
We have filmed at steel plants, processing facilities, manufacturing lines and export operations across India. Clients include Jeppiaar Furnace & Steels, MS Global India, Besmak, Alliance Minerals and Viari Exports. We understand the access protocols, safety requirements and scheduling constraints that come with active industrial environments — and how to work within them without disrupting operations.
End-to-end in-house production
Script, shoot, edit, colour grade, motion graphics and voiceover — all handled by the same team. No third-party handoffs, no delays waiting on outside vendors. One point of contact from briefing to delivery.
Multi-location capability across India
Most industrial briefs require filming at multiple facilities or sites. We handle travel, logistics and production coordination for multi-location shoots across India — maintaining consistent quality and visual language regardless of location.
Photography and video in a single production
Industrial photography and video are frequently booked together — same locations, same session, coordinated brief. The result is a consistent set of stills and films for your website, brochure, investor deck and sales team, produced more efficiently than two separate commissions.
Made for communications, not just documentation
An industrial video that looks like CCTV footage serves no one. We approach facility films with the same attention to composition, light and narrative that we bring to brand work — because the viewer on the other end of your investor deck or tender submission is making a judgement call based on what they see.

How it works

01
Brief & Scope
We establish the purpose of the film, its audience, and what it needs to communicate — capability, scale, process, safety standards, or some combination. We also discuss access requirements, safety protocols and scheduling constraints at this stage.
02
Recce & Pre-Production
For complex or multi-location briefs, we conduct a recce ahead of the shoot — identifying the best angles, understanding lighting conditions, and planning the sequence of filming to minimise impact on operations.
03
Production
On-site filming across your facility — operations footage, machinery close-ups, team sequences, aerial or elevated angles where accessible. We work around your production schedule and follow all site safety requirements.
04
Post & Delivery
Edit, colour grade, motion graphics, voiceover and music. First cut shared for review, then feedback rounds to final sign-off. Deliverables in all required formats — from high-resolution broadcast masters to web-optimised and presentation versions.

Common questions

What does an industrial facility video typically include?
A facility showcase film typically covers your premises and layout, key machinery and production equipment, operational processes and workflow, team and management, and any quality or certification credentials worth highlighting. The exact scope depends on your brief — some productions focus purely on capability, others include interviews with leadership or client testimonials. We scope it with you before production begins.
Can you film in active production environments?
Yes. Most of our industrial work is filmed while the facility is in operation — it's more authentic and more impressive than an empty plant. We plan the shoot around your production schedule to minimise disruption, follow all site safety protocols, and carry the appropriate equipment for confined or high-noise environments.
Do you travel outside Chennai for industrial shoots?
Yes. We regularly film at industrial facilities across Tamil Nadu and other states. Multi-location briefs — covering plants, warehouses or offices in different cities — are scoped and coordinated during pre-production. Travel, logistics and accommodation are agreed upfront.
How long does a facility video production take?
From briefing to final delivery, a straightforward single-location facility film typically takes 3–4 weeks. Multi-location or complex productions with significant motion graphics or voiceover work can run 5–6 weeks. We give you a realistic timeline during scoping so there are no surprises.
Can the video be used for investor presentations and tenders as well as marketing?
Yes — and we'd recommend planning for that from the start. A facility film cut for an investor presentation has different pacing and emphasis than one cut for a trade show reel. If you know the video will serve multiple purposes, tell us at brief stage and we'll produce with versioning in mind.
Do you handle voiceover and scripting?
Yes. Script development, voiceover recording and narration are included in the production. We can also structure the film around on-camera interviews with your leadership or technical team if that suits the purpose better.
Can you photograph the facility in the same visit?
Yes — and we'd generally recommend it. Industrial photography and video booked together means consistent visual language across your stills and film, more efficient use of site access time, and a single production to coordinate rather than two.
